DAN is the diving industry's largest association dedicated to scuba diving safety. For over 30 years, they have been providing emergency assistance, medical information resources, education and dive accident insurance.
We all carry DAN Dive Accident Insurance and as a Industry Member, Get Out and Dive stresses the importance of being covered for the unexpected and planning for a safe return home. The insurance premium is worth the piece of mind and one of those expenses we hope we never really recoup. Always have it, plan and pray to never have to use it!
The research, education and informational aspectes of DAN membership are worth the price of admission and more. They also have great emergency and training kits to which Get Out and Dive uses during training and adventures. We are an DAN Industry Member selling everything from backpacks to emergency oxygen kits.
If you travel with us, we will require dive accident insurance. The benefit of a 24-hour Emergency Hotline available for worldwide assistance cannot be overlooked if we are ever in a situation where one of our divers needs serious help.
